The Chinese Doctors Association will attend the 2026 regular session of the United Nations Committee


The Chinese Doctors Association will attend the 2026 regular session of the United Nations Committee on Non Governmental Organizations at the United Nations headquarters in New York from January 26 to February 6, 2026. During this meeting, the committee reviewed the application of a group of non-governmental organizations, including the Chinese Doctors Association, for consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The Chinese Doctors Association has been officially invited by the committee to send representatives to attend this regular meeting. During the conference, representatives of the Chinese Doctors Association actively participated in the committee's deliberation process and had full exchanges with committee members on the association's purpose, work areas, and future plans for participating in United Nations affairs. The association reiterated its firm commitment to promoting high-level talents to serve global public welfare, academic exchanges, and international cooperation.

The President of the Chinese Doctors Association stated, "Being invited to attend the regular meeting of the United Nations Non Governmental Organizations Committee is an important milestone in the development of the association. We will continue to uphold the concepts of openness, professionalism, and cooperation, actively integrate into the United Nations system, and contribute the wisdom and strength of the global doctoral community to promote the achievement of sustainable development goals

This regular meeting will close on February 6th. The Chinese Doctors Association expresses its gratitude to the committee for providing the opportunity to participate and will continue to actively cooperate with the committee's follow-up work.
